The Conference invites for active participation of local education leaders, teachers, scholars. Your papers are highly welcome.
1. Categories of submission
| |
We solicit three categories of submission:
(1) Panel: A dialog made up of 4~6 panel members, lasting 60 minutes, and followed by 15 minutes for
questions from the audience. The panel plan submitted must include: the panel topic, the members (from
different areas), the significance of the topic, the relationship between the background of members and
the topics, and the program outline of the panel.
(2) Paper: A paper submission must include paper title, author name(s) and affiliation(s), a 200-word
abstract, and no more than 5 keywords.
(3) Poster: The main aim of posters is for communication, such as reporting results of the latest research
and development, displaying the specific application model, introducing application cases, etc. The
abstract of a submitted poster must include title, author(s), and description of poster (no more than
500 words).

Submission Guidelines
(1) There is no limit to the length of the paper submitted to this conference, and it is encouraged for
long papers to descript the process and results of researches particularly. The papers accepted will be
recorded into Conference Proceedings, published in CD-ROM.
(2) The paper must include paper title, abstract(less than 200 words), keywords (no more than 5), main text
and references.
(3) All papers can be written either in English or Chinese. Chinese papers should also have English title,
abstract and keywords corresponding to Chinese contents.
(4) Only electronic submission is accepted. Please go to the website of the Paper Submission page of the
GCCCE 2008 website (www.gccce2008.org) to submit your paper.
Format of Submission
(1) Submissions should be in Portable Document Format (PDF) ONLY.
(2) Standard A4-sized paper should be used. All contents, including text, figures and tables, should be
surrounded by 1-inch (2.54-cm) margins on all four sides.
(3) All Chinese characters should be Unicode.
(4) The conference supplies the sample of a full paper submitted to 12th Annual Global Chinese Conference
on Computers in Education in order to help preparing papers, which has a particular description of
format of paper. Please set up your paper type according to the sample.

Attention: Information of page numbers, header, and footer should not be inserted in the paper.
At least one of the authors of the paper should take part in the conference, or the paper would
not be accepted. Please forgive!
